NOSFERATU THE VAMPYRE (1979)
One of the greatest vampire films ever made. It owes a great deal to the original Nosferatu. Although, Herzog and Kinski surpass it thanks to a haunting mood and creepy atmosphere. It’s a visually stunning art film. What is especially unique is the way Herzog creates supernatural environments within natural settings. He shot two versions simultaneously. One in German and the other in English. Both with the same actors (who were bilingual). Therefore, it's worth noting that the English version is not dubbed. (Although, the German version might have slightly better performances).
Director: Werner Herzog
