STARDUST MEMORIES (1980)
Starting his most accomplished decade off with one of his most underrated films, Woody Allen addresses the backlash 'Interiors' brought him and as a result pays perfect homage to 8 1/2. It's smart, cinematic, terrifically funny, self-reflective and ultimately profound in its poignant conclusion. Allen often considers this among his best films and time is most definitely on its side. With each passing year, this film becomes deeper it's undoubtedly his most experimental film to date.
